Channel 50 is in Joondalup and is linked to channel 48 in Koondoola. Channel 40 I think is an enquiries channel.Donga wrote:Does any one know what channel 40 and 50 used for vki on channel 48 have been trying to get in contact with two rocks on 50 and then got someone to try channel 40. Any ideas?
I think this sort of problem is one of the reasons the police are going to digital. You might be in range of a repeater but if it's not the right channel for your district you'd might as well switch your radio off... the digital system would act more like a mobile phone does and connect automatically to the nearest base staation/repeater.
