I don't think we need it, we're not like the US where everyday our TRG guys are having to go in and rescue hostages from holdups or take someone out that has a M16 and is killing people at school...I'd expect the eastern states to need one before us!

Good philosophy. Lets get rid of the army aswell cos really when was the last time we got invaded.....Even the scouts use the motto "be prepared"
Most other states do have some form of armoured vehicle and the one on the news is to replace the outdated Saracen they have had for years.

well it's not every day WAPOL officers get something they need or want. like another chopper.

During the 80's, WAPol/TRG used an aromured car to barrel through some gates where a gun men was believed to be in a house in the hills. So, yes there is times they require it, plus great if you have a high risk fortified property to enter.
