CHANNEL 7 has started filming a fly-on-the-wall series on WA Police.
The network is staying tight-lipped about the show, but a source close to production said filming had started on the documentary-style series.
It is being produced by the team behind the network's hit show Border Security – an Australian-made documentary series about the work of customs and quarantine officers.
It is understood a camera team will tail WA police officers as they deal with crime victims and chase down offenders.
A police spokesman said the show would help highlight the work police did in the community
I believe this is being done in conjunction with NSW. So you might hear "Camera crew on board" whilst listening.

yeah i heard this the other day. That stabbing on james and charles st one of the cars said they had a channel 7 crew on board.Thought it might have been for the news but never saw anything. So we might see it on this new show.
In today's West Australian in the Inside Cover section there was a short article about a local production company coming up with the idea to do a documentary on the British police officers who applied to work in WA. I think they were proposing something along the lines of following the new recruits through training and out onto the streets, plus how their families are adjusting to living in a new country, etc.
If that project gets off the ground it might be quite good too
