Polair 61 isnt the only chopper out these days :lol: it sounds like a helicopter? dont assume its Polair

I agree - Apart from Rescue 65 - the next loudest helicopter from Jandakot would be the Eurocopter AS-350B-2 Ecureuil (VH-ZJP) - right next door to my flight school, she sounds sweet as when she cruises along the swan. http://www.airliners.net/open.file?id=1 ... TER&size=L

polair has this distinct sound when it hovers over low..i usually go outside n have a peak.

VKI (South Metro) is checking to see if Polair is up for VF050.

well before i left for work at 10:30am i heard polair 62 book on..was quite confused but vki confirmed it and they said polair 62 on till 1800 out on patrol anyone know why the call sign changed ?

ehhh that the plane not the chopper. i guess air support need there times in the air, so why not take out the shiity plane LOl
