Can anyone answer a question thats been bugging me for a while...
How much of a WAPOL officer's standard issue equipment can be taken home ?
I assume the firearm(s) stay at the station locked up, how about other
equipment on the belt ? Is it personal choice ?
The uniform obviously goes home as it needs to be washed...
Just curious... Thanks
Nothing wrong about talking about this, i asked this question to a officer yesterday at the open day. The only ones who are allowed to take firearms and weapons home are the ones who get kitted up for work at home. This is usually K9 Police and Motorcycle police. There might be a few other exceptions but thats all that was told to me.

Well you will egt some that may talk about it but personally I wouldn't and I definately wouldn't put it on the net...... But thats just me

Because its operationally sensitive information, I guess it would be just like people posting your photo or address on the internet, you don’t know who is reading it and what it could be used for
I am hearing you guys. Would anybody really want the whole world to know whether they did or did not have a gun etc at home with them. Who knows who reads these posts. I know I certainly wouldnt want anyone knowing if I had a weapon that they could either try to steal or worse still - use on me....
i guess its possible for someone to gather information of where a firearm is stored, and break into that residence to take possession, and lead to further crimes.
plus the embarrassment and disciplinary action of losing such equipment.
