Police at Wembley Fatal Fire

Heard on the radio news this morning that an elderly man died in a house / unit fire in Wembley last night / this morning (post Midnight).

Does anyone know if the police treat it as a crime scene an if so who is incharge, is it the locals, the local d's, Arson sqd, Crime scene etc
