lets just think for a moment.... most of us are upset that the police are going digital. but we must think for a moment. this could easly happen to the fire bragiade. but it hasnt. thats one thing. imagine if all of the services went digital. so just tell yourself that.

was talling to one of the local boys and he said the cars will have digital radios but will be using the old system in the country and if they go to perth it will radios will switch digital.he also said that digital will be at least 5 years away if at all in most country areas.Bunbury will most likely be digital in the next 2 years

Oh don't even go THAT way amigo !! Those of us in the job pay enough tax to make sure it DOES go digital... Yes it will deny the generally nice members of the public with an informative avenue of local law enforcement but unfortunately the ever increasing crooks are using it for their own gain... Sad fact of life but I'd rather my comms be secure and no one know I'm coming instead of advertising to all and sundry that something is going on close by...
I'm sorry if that pushes anyone's nose out of joint, but we're getting fed up of crooks knowing that we're coming..
