Ferrari Vs Traffic Light outside the Windsor

Post by vortex »

I received a set of pics about this crash in my inbox this morning. I wondered what the story was and was sent this by a mate

Full amusing story and pics here

2006 Ferrari Modena with 1200Kms on the odometer = $325000

Insurance on Ferrari Modena = $6000

10 Pints of favourite beer = $80

The facial expression as the driver realises the insurance company is
not going payout whilst drink driving as he power slides into a traffic
light = PRICELESS

I received pics of this this morning as well. Looks like there were plenty of people around with cameras, so the tool should be well shamed around Perth by now. I also heard the part about him pulling a finger, and pranging it while he was looking at the patrons. Silly Silly Boy!

Rumours going around the Insurance companies (my daughter works for a Broker) is that there is $70,000 worth of damage to the car. Insurance won't be paying out because he was drunk!

Also rumours are that the car was actually owned by his wife :)

I'm led to believe it was on loan from Barbagello's and was actually for sale.
In any case, stories like this make my day! :D

is it possible, just to add insult to injury, that he could be charged under the hoon laws as well?

He's been charged with drink driving, and the Ferarri was his.
