hmmmm, wonder what the outcome of this will be ? makes u wonder why they dont have pistols with saftey catches.

can any officer confirm whether their service issue glock has a safety ? for memory, i dont think so.

major compensation suit ?

I thought the Glock had 'pressure' safety too, i.e you can't fire unless your hand is in exactly the right place.

or did I dream the one?
be gentle, I'm new to this!

or you could be thinking of the trigger safety, 1 of the 3 mentioned earlier. if your finger isnt on the trigger properly it wont fire.

See images on www.tea-and-medals.co.uk/glock18c.htm interesting artictle to go with it. The guy seems like a bit of a nut, glad we arnt in America, Ill stick with Lone Rangers to shoot it.

That's not the same version of Glock that's in use in Western Australia, but yeah I suppose you can get the idea from it regarding the trigger safety.

The trigger safety is designed to allow the firearm to only be fired when the trigger's squeezed. It means the trigger won't go off when the gun's dropped or pressed from the side by an object.
