I've been speaking to a friend who missed out on selection a while back. They don't tell you where you went wrong, do they? I mean, he'd passed his tests, both the exam, psychological and physical as far as he knew but they still didn't offer an explanation at the end of the day. So if they are chasing decent recruits - those who really want to do the job - then why not tell them where they are falling down so they can rectify any problems before they re-apply? Or have I received a curve ball from my source?

I remeber hearing something to this effect when i went through the application process. Limited feedback is how i think it was described. Although this was a while ago

I fell down in the Physical (Pardon the Pun). Avid Martial Artist at the time, just couldnt run for anything

Thinking of enroling in the assoc degree of criminology and justice (policing) next semester, and gaining entry that way. A degree is always something sparkly on the CV.
