Car was dumped on the Roe Hwy near the Kenwick Link - facing the wrong way on the wrong side of the road. Unfortunately no Polair. K9 lost the scent. Spotted jumping fences close by so Police flooded the area but I am unsure if they got anyone.

chases arent what they use to be, they get aborted to easily :? , i was listening to the GTO pursuit from 1999, now that was a damn good chase, cops doing 200 and the gto doing 280 down the freeway :D , but i spose everyone blames the police when the people being chased are killed or kill other people because of their stupidity.

Then why not have it that as soon as a person of interest (POI) refuses to stop in a vehice, any offences and/or acts that are commited from the initial refusal to stop are solely the fault of the POI, thereby releasing officers from being prosecuted for effecting their oath to 'uphold the law'..

Gee, I've heard this all somewhere before......... :?

As for chases being dangerous, it's only as dangerous as the knucklehead behind the wheel...

The UQ car that first spotted the hot Monaro actually said they sighted it on Sevenoaks St near the train station.
I was on my way home heading down Albany Hwy thru Cannington and I saw the Monaro hurtin along Albany Hwy so I rang the Police to tell them I'd just seen the car. Funny thing is, while I was on the phone to the lady at PAC the car thrashed past us again with the headlights off. Further up the road I saw a CD (507 maybe) car waiting to turn onto Albany Hwy but it looked as if they were deciding which way to turn onto the highway (they didn't know at the time where the Monaro was) but they made the right guess and headed south :smt045
A few seconds after this VKI said about the car being seen going south on Albany Hwy.
Oh yeh, I saw that same Monaro doing donuts in Gosnells at about 8.30pm earlier that night showing off to a group of 'indigenous' outside red rooster. The guy driving it then had a mega aphro :smt042
