are VKI personnel, public servants or actual ranking police officers? if they are police officers, what is their minimum rank?

What was happening at curtin yesterday...i heard over the scanner alot of officers were their.....i was to late to hear the original Job details..

They are civies, but quite a lot of the VKI operators are ex coppers so I have heard...

Im not too sure about the VKI ops, but the original job for Cutin Uni was in relation to a security guard being assaulted by some patrons of the tavern.

I believe the on-road supervisor requested that all kensington cars attend Curtin as there were fights breaking out sporadicly. 3 -4 cars stayed until the bar closed to clear.

I am currently in the evluation process of becoming a Police Officer. Been training for awhile...i have just been really committed in the last 1month or so...doing running and physical body building. Hope everything goes ok. I chose HM as its the area i am living in, and also 106 because its unmarked because i want to be in the Traffic Department. Been listening to the police scanner for ages now, i have also browsed the forum but never really signed up untill now.

i got my Police Evaluation booked in next week. have completed the Eye test and completed the Keyboard/Computer Test. Booked in for my senior first aid next week also.

Will tell you how it goes....

Anyone got any books or websites to prepare me for the aptitude test??
