Hey guys i know a few people on this board are operators out at VKI. I have been lucky enough to get an interview for the new positions out there.

I was wondering if you guys might be willing to offer me some advice etc..

Hi Fozzy,

I was actually offered a position as a VKI Radio Operator in February 2005, however I declined it for a position at Main Roads that was offered at the same time.

Send me an email and I will give you a heads up on what to expect. My mate who is in there at the moment had to reapply for his job and he has not been shortlisted.

So as you can expect there is a bit of negativity within the Police Operations Centre at the moment.

Hey all,

I would like to inform you all. I have been recommended for the position. The confirmations go out on july tenth.

Then I will have to sit a phsyc assesment and If I pass I am in.

Hey Guys/Gals

Just thought I would give you an update.

I have been given the offical word.

I have been given a position at VKI and I have accepted.

My commencment date for training is 18/09/2006.

Dont expect to hear me on the radio for a while as there is about 3 weeks training!
