Man faces court after stabbing
From: AAP
October 23, 2005

A MAN will face court tomorrow charged with the fatal stabbing of another man whose body was found in a park in Perth's southern suburbs.

Police were called to the Fleetwood Park in Nicholson Road, Lynwood after witnesses reported two men, both armed with knives, fighting at around 6pm.
When police arrived they discovered one of the men, aged 33, dead with stab wounds to his chest. The other man had fled.

Police found and arrested the man, also aged 33, after spending hours combing the area with tracker dogs.

The man will appear in Perth Magistrates Court tomorrow to face a charge of grievous bodily harm, which could be upgraded depending on the results of a post-mortem examination, a WA police spokesman said.
