Re: Pursuits and other events
Not 100% sure if related. I heard a chopper go over at midnightish, and article is timestamped 0130ish, cop cars were 2030ish.
Interesting to note that Northam is 100k *north* of Perth.

Re: Pursuits and other events
It would have been the RAC chopper transferring the driver from Northam to RPH.colin wrote:Not 100% sure if related. I heard a chopper go over at midnightish, and article is timestamped 0130ish, cop cars were 2030ish.

According to the various news outlets it's because of "an incident"nachoman wrote:Section of St Georges Terrace in the CBD currently closed. Twitter has more.

Could be a cracked iPod screen. That's definitely 'an incident.'Zebedee wrote:According to the various news outlets it's because of "an incident"nachoman wrote:Section of St Georges Terrace in the CBD currently closed. Twitter has more.

UWA is thick with both marked and unmarked WAPOL this arvo - highly suspected to be the PM with Hilary Clinton. (Though the private security said it's Murdoch's kid having a petting zoo - lol!)

I think this was a crash but I'm not certain, but Glendalough station road was/is closed off by Police. Buses cannot enter from one side at all which has turned traffic and transport in chaos the last couple of hours.
