not really... iiNet has completely destroyed the Westnet brand and culture. The service levels have gone to rock bottom and people are leaving in droves.

i have westnet and the problems we had was router and for abit got changed from 200Gb TO 10 gb FOR SOME TIME GRRR
now its back to 200 and Back to watching youtube 200GB peak and off peak

1990 Multiline BBS since 1990 oddly enough :-). I think they got internet around 1993? Same email address since then

I remember Multiline, Omen was also a BBS when I started.
Brings back memories of Fidonet

Also had VERY EXPENSIVE Viatel - even had online banking then (late 80's)

I was originally with Arachnet before they were bought out by Amnet and have been with amnet ever since and could not fault them. Every time I have had a problem they could not have been more helpful and I even had a followup call a few days later to make sure everything had been sorted out. Being in a semi rural area we have to pay a higher price compaired to city as only Telstra has lines out here but still pay almost half the price compaired to going direct though Telstra.
