There was free choc milk at the Soundwave concert in Claremont earlier this month - and Cottesloe police helped distribute it.
Senior Sergeant Denise Grant was ushering a police truck through the thousands of people queued at Gate 11 outside the Showgrounds an hour before the music began.
She moved a few plastic milks to one side - and soon there was a popping noise.
"The plasic bottles of choc milk that had littered the ground went under the tyres and went off like fire-crackers" she said. "One bloke was sprayed up his side."
Even though a few conxertgoers ended up smelling chocolately they saw the funny side and remained in good humour.
