Why does the capacitor allow AC and blocks DC

Post by Blinky »

I have a problem. Where do I post this. In the radio section where people who know a bit about electronics are and could understand the humor. In the radio section where people are going to be studying this subject in courses soon? I thought it had better go in the jokes area.

Have a look at this http://img.funenclave.com/f/capacitor-b ... 7hb7zm.jpg

Note: if you need to answer this in a test at some stage in the future, forget this image

There are 10 types of people in this world. Those that understand binary and those who do not.

Well the theory looks good on paper. It would act a bit different if it was 1.21 jiggawatts.

And I always thought that it was coz the capacitor was "current-ist" (that's like sexist, racist, etc but discriminates on the type of current that approaches it :P )
