Not sure if this is the best place for it but I've been browsing the weatherzone forums for STC Yasi and it makes interesting reading.

There's a lot of rumor and fear at the mo, but one thing for certain. This beast is huge. 700km+ gale area, nearly 2500km across the cloud disc and another thousand or so if you count the outer arms.
This is the beastie (2.5kms ago) in IR.

All these flashing signatures are becoming mildly irritating...
To stop displaying signatures, go to the User Control Panel > Board Preferences > Edit display options > Display signatures > No > Submit
