Was just sitting out the back when quite a large chopper flew over, about 500ft in the air. Very noisy too.
The under belly of it was completely white, and the side of it was a lightish blue with an even lighter blue logo of some kind on the tail.
Anyone got any idea who this would belong to? It was almost as big as Polair 61 but nowhere near as noisy, and much less crap hanging off it

Ahh... I just stumbled across it. This is it for sure:

Bit bigger than Polair 61 on second thoughts

There are 10 types of people in this world. Those that understand binary and those who do not.

Wow, thanks for the info Blinky. Seems that it is a very integral part of FESA in the SW. I live in Dalyellup about 1km from the beach (Google maps..!!) and it looked like it was flying from Busselton to somewhere north east, like Harvey. It certainly came across me in a diaganol NE direction

It flew up for the munster/wattleup fire. Seen it heading north over mandurah
Re: Big blue & white chopper over Bunbury
Heard it on perth radar yesterday afternoon, was transiting up the coast to perth, and decided to help out at the fire.

I saw the helitacs including 682 which is the one based down South, land at Perth Airport on the night of the fire on Russell Road. Does anyone know if she is going to stay at Perth or fly back down South
