Well, I guess it doesn't get more "off topic" than this
On the way to work this morning, I noticed signs advising that the 106 year-old Horseshoe Bridge in Perth is going to be closed from the 30th November to around April/May 2010. If you use that method of getting into the city like I do, you may want to plan an alternative method for the upgrade period...

Interestingly, at the completion of the works, the bridge will be two-way traffic rather than the one-way system as it is currently...
