Dont know if anyone saw on Ten news tonight but in the US they have taken there first delivery off a Holden/Cheverolt Badge Statesman Police Car called the Chevrolet Caprice.

Fitted with full statesman caprice options, LED/Strobe Light package, using same tech that vic police have installed in there cars apprantley/

The yanks have WAY too much money to spend on patrol cars.

The car was only unveiled on the weekend. No mention of actual sales but they hope to sell some there.

Hell Nice...

The kit inside is awesome and I would love to see it roll out across the WA fleet and lessor into Ranger cars, government vechile. I popped my head into one in the US and was amazed of what stuff they have inside.

What I liked is virtually the whole centre panel has been ripped out and items that is important to the GD or traffic cars are in, like ready accessible torches, shotfun holster ticket books etc.

Australia has alot to learn about American police cars, they really do look after them over there [in cars]

But I don't see an mp3 cd player or even a radio to tune in the little transmitters you get for your mp3 player!...:P

Didnt think officers were not allowed to listen to the radio while on operational duty?

If the statement was supposed to say that you didnt think police listened to commercial radio whilst on duty... they do, and would be lost without it!
