Approx 10pm near a restaurant called "Halo" by the Bell Tower, a man was socialising with friends on a large boat. He got off the boat and walked across the pier where he fell and got trapped underwater and drowned.

Approx 11pm there was also a car v pedestiran on Pinjarra Rd, Pinjarra. This resulted in the death of the pedestrian and minor injuries to the P plater driver.
