True or not the comment was made that 75% of arsonists are or were vollies.

The next 4 posts were defending vollies and made no comment about that statistic. I just voiced my opinion.

I have NO problem with vollies. They do a great job and without them WA would be in trouble.

I have a problem with arsonists.

I dont understand what you are saying here. Your upset that I report news? If a policeman was doing hold-ups or ambulance drivers were killing people it would be posted yes?

And I have to ask... you seem so quick to defend vollies when one is convicted or accused of arson. Are you an arsonist?

Yet you still have to jump on it, 'coz the figure suits your argument/agenda. You're awful quick to jump on and report the negative around vollies, but I don't see much of the positive side. Simply to get a reaction perhaps (and it took a month and a half to get one.. I wonder why!)

I stick up for vollies as a whole, as it is bad enough that there *are* bad eggs that tarnish the reputation of the rest of us, without you having to draw attention to it constantly like a broken record. Do you bang on about the cops that have been dragged through the CCC etc? If you have, I've missed it.. I'm sorry, but it does reek of some hidden agenda.

The last part of your post doesn't even dignify a response and really does say it all.

Thanks.

I think this topic has well and truly run its course. No matter how long we debate the topic there will ALWAYS be bad apples in ANY organisation you care to name. Harping on about it won't change that fact.

What is also fact is that this is a scanner forum. Shouldn't we be concentrating on that?
