We choose the Moon!

I just caught the "launch" (delayed stream - by 40 years!) of the Apollo 11 mission on http://wechoosethemoon.org/ - nice site and you can hear (and see Tweets) of the radio traffic.

There's also some great photos and video of the mission.

Worth checking out :-)

And to make this thread radio-related (which probably means it's now off-topic for the off-topic forum!), for those of you who have grabbed a new DAB+ radio, the ABC have created a special event station on there which will be rebroadcasting the moon landing (live, with a 40 year delay) from I believe 8am on Tuesday morning.

So if you've got a DAB+ radio, do a rescan and you should pick up the new ABC Moon station :-)
