planes dont usually go backwards (unless its a tigermoth in a 40kt headwind - talk about short takeoff and landing :P) - even though it is still technically moving forward :P

My post was in jest, but I saw Emu Airlines fly backwards on a number of occasions. It was a damned slow flight to Learmonth too.

How did you go???
To stop displaying signatures, go to the User Control Panel > Board Preferences > Edit display options > Display signatures > No > Submit

Sorry... forgot to give an update :P

When i did my paperwork... the crosswind was too high... so i decided to wait.

waited... waited... waited... crosswind wasnt coming down. instructor calls me... "sorry mate, im going to bin this one because of the crosswing, but im going to try and get you in as soon as possible"

Two massive log periodics and some other interesting looking antennae. Speaking of that beach, I used to be the guy that would ride up and down it on a quad bike when it had to be vacated. Managed to reallocate that job back to the client. That was never in my job description :shock:
