Found out something interesting

I found out something I did not know the other day. I know my grammar is not the best but.

When you put a ' somewhere it means that's where the proper word is meant to go e.g

It's = it is
They're =They are.

WOW I never knew grammar was so much fun and so easy to understand :D.

Can also be used to drop letters at the end of a word, specifically "s"

Denis's car
Denis' car either is correct.

It's and its. Probably attracts more attention from grammar Nazis than any other. As far as its correct usage, it's one you just have to remember.
(rechecks all that ... JUST to be sure)
