I'll second the Adblock plus add on. I also liked my Aquatint Black theme and Realplayer browser record plugin which automatically detected video content and allowed you to download it as a Real video.

I have DownloadHelper which apparently is Ff3 compatible. Another plugin I use is N0HR PropFire but as yet it's not Ff3 compatible.

Yeah I've got download helper on my computer at home, and it is compatible or certainly the version I have installed is. But I've never actually used it.
Edit: spot the nerds who are up late at night on a bulletin board for scanning talking about what addons they have for the latest open source piece of software

I wouldn't survive without FlashBlock. I *HATE* websites that use flash. The flash is replaced with a play button. If you want to see what it is, click the play. With all the other ad blocking plus this you don't see much advertising.
Adblock plus seems to be the one that gets talked about most on forums.

The Internet Exploder team at M$ send the Firefox team an IE cake for the release of FF3. No "We surrender" note. The cake will probably mysteriously disappear a couple of hours later along with all their passwords and credit card details.

Downloaded 8.3 million times in 24 hours. Expected to be an official Guinness record seeing as how the record doesn't exist yet.

Security flaw found a few hours later, the phishing protection might not work under the right conditions but also would need the user interaction.

Firefox4 beta 6 is pretty stable. I like the new features and layout.

I ditched Firefox for Google Chrome a few months ago

Being Google based, saves time, i dont need a search bar or have to go to Google home page, i can just search from the URL bar

Also when i open a new tab, i have my 8 most accessed websites, and then my 6 last closed tabs

Firefox by default the URL bar is a Google search bar :smt007

Firefox by default options can open all last tabs, heavily customisable through Tab Mix Plus. :smt055

Not to say Chrome isn't good though
