I saw that on Hack-A-Day. It said he was already working on a 32,000 mirror version.

I found this video interesting, shows how times have changed and people's reactions are automatically that of suspicion...

It's a royal shame over the state of photography in today's world.

Back in the day I studied photography, and got top marks (although these days I've forgotten half of that #-o ). When photography meant you had to buy a nice camera and no one raised an eyebrow.

But whenever I dare shoot something in public now there are usually comments to say its not legal? Please. You don't want your picture taken, stay inside.
"VKI, NJ050 will you be attending the job?"

At least they were alert enough to notice suspicious people. I like taking panorama photo's and if that don't look suspicious nothing does. At least the Bobbies had the sense to know what is legal. Wonder what the local enforcement agencies would do. Then again I doubt anyone would think taking photo's was suspicious.

Imagine the complaints this guy must have received, except they would not have known.

The bullet points at the start are all correct (disregarding provisions of federal acts) if they were applied to WA with the exception of the last point. A camera/image/recording/mobile phone can be seized in WA without a court order...
