Saw a duck get skittled on the Mitchell Freeway near Lake Herdsman. It had some ducklings following it. When the duck was hit, the little ones were just running madly in circles.

That image has never left me!

Differant things effect differant people in differant ways... I guess!

I was fortunate enough to stop behind 3 cars where the first one stopped for a duck and her ducklings so they could cross the road causing a pileup.

Wierd part is that there was no lake/river/water for quite some distance from where they were

No major injuries fortunately, but it was exactly where the 4 person fatality was recently cnr Ennis x Dixon. Strange irony...
