Very big incident. At present there is 22 MFB appliances and 14 CFA appliances on scene.

Took approx 1.5 hr to get under control

Just going through some old posts.

The job was nothing really in the way of fires. As strange as it may seem.

The biggest & hardest part was the fact that power had to be cut to several buildings and people evacuated from several buildings. That was the largest and greatest drain on manpower, not the actual fire fight.

People stuck in lifts everywhere.

Kudos to the Firefighters who carried the chap in the wheel chair down 14 levels via the stairs.

The main fire was fought by a couple of blokes on a branch line with a few others sorting CO2 and Dry Chem agents.
