Ok... I am seeking the assistance of those on the board to settle and argument I'm having with a very good friend

So far its pretty even, but I'd like to know what you guys all think. Makes for an interesting debate over a few quiet ones

But when lights are faulty or if Police are at a traffic incident at an Intersection - they ask to have the lights "Flash Amber" - isn't this the same thing?

When I got my license it was stop if you can at the orange/amber light now they are taught to stop at the yellow light (american style. even though the lights in most places are still orange/amber)
On a side note while I was living in Perth i learned it means accellerate as hard as possible.

That's what I heard also, as per the Traffic Code 2000. But it doesn't look yellow... and I'm certain its a shade of amber personally. Someone also said that in the US they are called orange. Unless the shades of yellow have changed somewhat over the years, either that or my eyesight is worse than it is already

New TCL's i.e. along sections of Reid and Tonkin will just be Orange LED's...which I might add are a lot nicer than the old single globe ones!

The new lights at the cross of Alexander Dr and Gnangara Rd have the LEDs - I'll have to take a closer look at the middle light after reading all this hehe
