That's what I heard also, as per the Traffic Code 2000. But it doesn't look yellow... and I'm certain its a shade of amber personally. Someone also said that in the US they are called orange. New TCL's i.e. along sections of Reid and Tonkin will just be Orange LED's...which I might add are a lot nicer than the old single globe ones!
