2.5 hours to go - according to the NASA site, the crew are in the launch tower getting ready to go into the orbiter.

Watching it live at the moment, amazing. Its a pity they dont have cameras inside the flight deck! T minus 43 minutes

I hope theve remembered to grease the orings. the water tower looks close to the launch pad on the tv - mabe that ones for the hot water.

The doesnt seem to be much PPE worn by some of the people transporting the large tanks. One fella had a Hawaiin shirt on for cryin out loud. No high visibility gear seen.

Probably because if there's any problems with transportidng said large tanks filled with liquid oxygen and hydrogen (phoom!) no amount of PPE is going to help you.

They had the police escort though. How big is that friggin shed!!!!!8 acres floor space!!! over 560 feet high!!! HUGE! Slow cranes but 12 hours to tilt the shuttle up.
Its quite interesting.
