its also saying that there is no default driver for the software..... i thought it was only hardware that needs drivers

i need help .... any takers?

some software can require drivers, if it's going to simulate something, for example one of the PDF printers I tried because PDF Creator didn't work on vista required a canon driver. That didn't work either so I'm waiting for PDF Creator guys to write an update for vista.

i found out its an ODBC problem , its not there or not set to default ...
i cant be botherd fixing it right now

nah vista not that bad, most stuff works. write part of the cheap cost off on tax too

the time has come to fix the OBDC problem , if i try to do anything with the software is says

Run-time error '-2147467259 (80004005)':

[Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no default driver specified

Can anyone help me with this one? ,any help and advice would be much appreciated
