St John Ambulance WA Student Paramedic Fitness test

Post by HopefulMissy »

Hi Im thinking of applying for this years intake for Student Paramedic Officer program with St John Ambulance and Curtin University. I read that there's going to be a fitness test for applicants. I was wondering what kind of push ups do they ask you to do (girl push ups/knee push ups, wall, or regular push ups) and how many? Is anybody else here applying for this year's intake? Some tips and guidelines from successful student paramedics would be so much appreciated. Thanks! :D

At a guess, I'd say regular push-ups. If you're not good at those, check out http://www.hundredpushups.com/ - there's a excellent and easy training program available for free on there, it's certainly helped me with fitness tests in the past.

Good luck!
