obviously the first one didn't leave a big enough dent and the second thought it could do a lot better.

According to the above link, it shouldn't affect production ... sadly though, two firefighters were injured.

Something that popped into my head reading yet another 'these anti-hoon laws are crap' articles after the Mini Cooper was handed in for 28 days.

What happens for example, if this demo car was sold prior to the ticket coming through of the 170km/h+? According to this law the new owner of the vehicle would have the car then get a rude shock when there is a knock on the door to have it taken away!
