I dont think the navy or armed forces would give civilians weapons, the fact that it could turn sour. It would be a camp for refugees you will be fed,given clothes,medical treatment and have a safe place to live. Im sorry but i wont be no refuge.

Weapons can be found anywhere-gun stores wont be guarded and nothing driving a truck through the front window wont fix and some bolt cutters.

Thinking about it your choices are ANYWHERE that is secure has a food supply and power back up. Water is an option but if the water is cut good luck start drinking out the toilet bowl or get puritabs.

Sounds extreme.

But a prison would be a good start to hide unless its been compromised. Id even hold up at work 5 stories,back up diesel generator,kitchen on each floor with food,entry turn styles shatter proof and shatter proof glass on each floor once you leave the lift.Secure under ground carpark 3 company cars (escape/explorers) we got foxtel, satelite phones, a "green" rain tank on the roof so fresh water as well and solar panels "saving the enviroment apprantley"

the virus affects the frontal lobe <just random useless information>

If these zombies were nocturnal it would be easy fixed. Move to norway for six months ,and then antarctica for the other . Problem solved, no more night time

we could just leave them zombies to either eat eachother or die of starvation as in 28 weeks later.

Exactley and i think hakea has firearms anyways and a prison bus would be a secure vehicle no chance of them getting in !!!

Just hold up in the main office youd be right and wouldnt need to venture any further unless to kitchen/stores.

ok lets think life style now. We find the biggest cruise ship possible with all the facilities including a desalination plant, invite any remaining girls of the playboy mansion along and buy a whole pile of fishing tackle. Endless supply of food is provided by the ocean and we have water-- sorted. We keep the hummer for when we come to a safe destination when alcohol is required or even better, we start up our own moonshine factory on the boat
