Great thing about being in the hills don't have to listen to all the bad music that people next to music events have to listen to!

I was at the concert. It was a good concert but probably not the best I have been too. Something needed to be different but I don't know what

Honestly i dont know whats going to happen with the up coming generation.

Went down to one of our main reserves with the ranger as one of the ses guys said people were parking on the reserve, we get down there to open up the over flow carpark (place thats kinda just wood chippy with some trees and no grass to damage) pretty much so people didn't HAVE to jump the kerb and park on the reserve and we got abused before we even got out of the car about being un australian and ticketing people! The ranger didnt even have the ppc/printer with him!

They're the people who will be running the world soon, honestly think about what australia day is. It is not celebrating australia thats for sure! Australia is a place where waiting for a bus you can get you're throat cut, Walking down the wrong street coming back from a late night studying for uni can get you murdered. A place where on a beach on christmas day a group of aboriginals can harass and murder someone, im pretty sure there would have been other people on the beach! What on earth are they doing? minding their own business pretending its not happening. Why? because Australia is becoming a dangerous place where things are settled over a fist fight and a beer. Things are settled with knives.

Australia day is celebrating what Australia USE to be, the notion of the australian spirit is a facade these days.

Take for instance Perthnow. Week before Australia they are going to report as many positive things as possible:

http://www.news.com.au/perthnow/story/0 ... 61,00.html

Woman tricks soldier lover into being tied up so some guy can come beat the snot out of him and she can sodomise him, record him and black mail him with it.

http://www.news.com.au/perthnow/story/0 ... 61,00.html

Respected member of authority in WA alledgedly beats up his mrs.

http://www.news.com.au/perthnow/story/0 ... 61,00.html

Vandals spit the dummy over progress.

http://www.news.com.au/perthnow/story/0 ... 61,00.html

http://www.news.com.au/perthnow/story/0 ... 61,00.html

Violent car jackings

This is just our little Perth.

So tell me? Whats to celebrate?

The good old days when if you got caught doing something stupid as a juvinial the cop would give you a swift kick up the arse then take you home and you're dad would do the same thing,

Where the most serious of male issues were resolved with a fight, 10 minutes worth of fighting, winner buys loser a drink after wards and become mates again.

Where if you beat and murdered a little girl in a shopping room bathroom you were hung.

Where if another human being and his family were being harassed violently for NOTHING you and your mates stepped in and harassed the aggressor back

Where a Police officer/ranger/firey/security/nurse/doctor/ses/priest etc asked you politely to do something you DIDN"T attack them.

Where you dont need a community security group to ESCORT the elderly to the shopping centre because they are afraid of being attacked.

Where if you were so ****ing stupid and had a party and caused heaps of trouble after getting a few shift kicks you APOLOGISED and didnt exploit it. Where if you were wearing pink boardies and big yellow sun glasses you had the piss taken out of you.

For lazy people
TL;DR - Australia day celebrates the notion of what Australia use to be like and today is a facade because as much as you can love australia itself the people living here are horrible.

Or maybe i need to harden the **** up and stop whinging like a little girl.
