Accused P-plate dragsters' cars seized

THREE drivers - two of them P-platers - have been caught allegedly drag-racing at more than twice the speed limit on a major road in Melbourne's east.

Traffic police say they clocked the trio at 160km/h in a 70km/h zone on Dandenong Road at Clayton around 11pm (AEDT) yesterday.

All three had their cars - a Ford XR6, a VT Commodore and a Ford station wagon - impounded for 48 hours.

why dont they take their cars , scrap them for parts and sell the parts at the auction , that way they can see their pride & joy decress in value, peice by peice. maybe even make them atend the auction, but they arnt alloud to bid.

Nah if the cars are any good they should be donated to WAPOL, spray painted white or silver and stripped, and on the dash a plaque. Kindly donated to WA Police Service by Firstname Surname for hooning." Then on the bumper put, I was once a hoon car, or drag car, etc.
