News: Thief targets Meekatharra fire truck

Post by vk6hgr »

Police are still searching for a missing fire truck which was stolen from Meekatharra, in WA's mid west, yesterday.

The truck was seen in Mullewa and in Northampton, but police still do not know where it has been taken.

Police have yet to establish if the thief broke into the fire station or had access to the building in order to take the keys.

The light tender vehicle is the main fire truck in Meekatharra and police are appealing for it to be returned.

Dam thats a pretty dam low crime, especially considering the high community value of the vehicle. Hope they find it in one piece. Its amazing they have gotten so far with it without getting caught.

lol, not exactly a good getaway vehicle if you want to be low key.

I imagine it wont take long before the vehicle is found. I hope it's still in one piece though. Those things aren't cheap!
