Managed to get some rather crummy shots of the vehicle that is being trialed by Perth's finest! So I'd thought I'd share them. I personally don't like the colour scheme - the orange and yellow strips?
Otherwise, there will be no excuse 'not' to see the Police Car - certainly lights everything up.
Note the LED Lights near the top of the rear bumper
Note the LED Lights in the rear glass near the struts. Also have LED Lights at both ends of the Vehicle Registration Numberplate.

Top = Bottom of bumper
And I don't think there are any lights in the rear window? At least not when I was in it.

Fair enough, thought there were some looking closely at the photo.
Note the white dome behind the clear lights on the lightbar? Anyone know what thats for?

Looks like an external GPS antenna perhaps.
Although looking at my video again there are little LED heads (which were operating) in the FRONT window.

Re: [WF] WAPOL Concept Police Car
The white dome near the back of the lights wouldn't have anything to do with the HVAC comms button on the screen would it? Looking at the photos from the open day its the only other thing I can possibly see it being. All of the other aerials on the car look standard WAPOL.

It defn looks like a flying saucer GPS antenna.

Doesn't have one I was told, it was not an 'operational' vehicle.Mug wrote:Callsign?
Again things may have changed.

Well it had conducted a traffic stop earlier, so I would presume its operational? Isn't TE204 a Ford BG Falcon?yorky wrote:Doesn't have one I was told, it was not an 'operational' vehicle.Mug wrote:Callsign?
