Am I right in seeing smaller LED's on both side windows behind the seats?

be interesting to see if other unmarked wapol vehicles utilise these side facing leds to increase visibility, especially whilst negotiating intersections.

My guess is because they don't use a beacon on the roof being one up where as the normal two up unmarked can stick the beacon on the roof and hence don't need side lights.

Side lights in a sedan can also be easily broken without a good enough mounting spot where as the fixed side window in the ute/wagon is the best spot.

I seen two seperate unmarked traffic cars on Albany hwy near williams with the led module in front of the steering wheel as well as a seperate module mounted just up in front of the rear-view mirror. Plus two led modules on the parcel shelves.

Many unmarked station wagons and 4WDs have the small LED units fitted inside the side (and rear) windows of the cargo area.
