Wagin VFRS Centenary.

Post by xr8edute »

Hey guys. Just a couple of pics and a link to some photos of our recent Centenary at Wagin Volunteer Fire and Rescue Service.

We held a march down the main street with our members, past members that wanted to, Life members that were available and a couple of our units.

After the march we opened the station to the public and had a free sausage sizzle, drinks and afternoon tea for everyone. We also did a few running demo's, cut up a car, demonstrated the new BA sets and Hazmat clothing and layed down some foam.

That evening we held a dinner with approx 200 invited guests attending. Service medals were presented and a good time was had by all.

Thanks very much to past member Chris James for giving me permission to use these photo's and provide the link to his website on this forum.
