Update: I went out to find his license plate didn't look like it was there. Minutes later the dude comes and picks it up from the other side of the road.

I'm going to sound like an old fart captain slow, but really if you're driving properly there should be no reason the car should actually slide off the lights. Sure a little, immediately correctable, wheel slip if you're inexperienced with the vehicle/load/road conditons but not a big slide. I just fail to see why so many people still do it...I just don't get it?
