Not quite. Every year for the past couple of years the City of Canning put on a day to remember on the Shelly Foreshore. It usually starts around 2ish with bands & entertainment. Come to 8pm there is a fireworks display.

Its a great evening for the residents and its something that City of Canning does to put something back into the community.

It's a great local fireworks, we watch it every year from the Salter Point side. Alot of families quietly having picnics, no drunks or agro, easy to park, and a really spectacular fireworks up close.

Ah yes I remember the Shelley Foreshore fireworks when I was back living in Perth. Very family orientated event and VFAS used to cover it. Nothing really that huge just a nice local community event.
