Wyalkatchem VFRS

Post by CobCob »

Was in Wylie for a few days and they had there 4th call out for the year. Managed to get a photo of the truck in the station and also Rescue 65 as it was waiting on the town oval for the Ambulance.

Spent some time up in Wyalkatchem previous years and loved every bit of it. Absolute awesome shots.

When I was up there, talk was they are to receive the ex Kalgoorlie CP. Did this every happen?

My sources indicate they had an old Mazda light pumper (LP-99) which was replaced by the HSR (HSR-29).

yeah i thought so as i remember the Series 3 at workshops and there is 3 steps to get into the truck due to the size of it. they look impressive but have heard they only have 1400L of water. i would think bigger truck more water like 2000L as its ment to be a 2.4HSR

oh well ya get that
