What do you mean by "codes"haro_chik wrote:How come some bikes have codes and others don't?
I'm guessing the vehicle callsign (eg TE 705)auntys_eyes wrote:What do you mean by "codes"haro_chik wrote:How come some bikes have codes and others don't?
That's why i asked G. None of the bikes in the pictures above have a call sign visible on them, yet all Police vehicles have a call sign. The question is a little unclear, so if haro_chik can clarify what they mean by "codes", then an answer might be easier to providegkoutlis wrote:I'm guessing the vehicle callsign (eg TE 705)
I saw.. must have been 8 bikes on the freeway a few weeks ago pulling cars over near the Farmer Freeway exit onto the Mitchell. I did think they were slashed to less than this though..yorky wrote:I think only TEG have motorbikes now? There was a large slash in bike numbers earlier/last year so there are not many around anyway.
Prior to the cull, TEG bikes had callsigns written on them but District traffic bikes did not. Not sure what the arrangement is now but i believe, like Yorky, that all the remaining bikes belong to TEG. It would appear they no longer have the callsign written on them afaik.haro_chik wrote:Sorry, I meant callsigns. Is it only TEG motorbikes that have a visible callsign? Central and station cars don't?
