I used to live right opposite there on Dreyer Way many years ago. It went up probably about 15-20 years ago aswell. Nice to see they haven't developed it and just turned it into a big block of housing.

Great photos Treeny.

The Boys Brigade guys do a lantern stalk in that section of bush.....looks like we will have to find somewhere else to go :-(

I heard that during the fire,the pastor from the church (across the road) was running around with a bucket of water putting out all the
mulch fires that were starting in the car park.
A couple of the neighbours came along and gave a hand with some buckets of water too.
