World day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims (Kalg)

This day was hosted by Roadwise here in Kalgoorlie and was at Hammond Park on the 15-11-09
This day is to remember those that have lost their lives in Road Traffic Accidents.
I was the one that drove the Kalgoorlie LT down to the event. The pictures show the Kalgoorlie LT, Kalgoorlie Ambulance and KG204 Highway Patrol Car.

The tree planting was for the memory of those that have died. This was performed by the Superintendent Looby and Deputy Mayor Allan Pendal.

Great photo's! Thanks for remember the camera. Perth does something a bit similar for road safety, they gear up the "Arrive Alive" campaign which is all about not driving tired, or drink driving etc. which involves convoy's. Great to see stuff being done in the country where help is quite often further away!
