Boddington Gold Mine LT & WApol unmarked wagon

Post by donks »

First 2 pics are of Boddington Gold Mines light tanker.... 2009 Landcruiser V8 Diesel.

This picture is a WApol unmarked wagon... EXTREMELY dark tint in the boot area (they have cut a rectangle out of the tint to allow the LEDs to be seen).. Deckblaster, spotties, glassmounts on windscreen and also an antenna similar to CB radio one?! (not the huge HF ones on country cars) also found the 'Apple' sticker funny.

lol, I love how mining vehicles look like a pile of junk even when they are brand new.
I used to work in the mining industry, and I'd jump in a toyota hilux and start driving it, thinking it was an old heap of crap (full of dust, filthy etc) and then peer down and look at the odometer to see that it only had about 3000km on the clock.

They are very misleading due to the nature of mining. If you hadn't of told me that was a 2009 model I would have thought it was a 2001 model!

It's probably an old tray with a new cab chassis.
